I think it is this fish, not one we know a lot about. I've labelled it as Ancistomus but this genus maybe moved into synonymy with Hemiancistrus or Peckoltia. Interestingly the 2nd, 3rd and 4th pictures were taken in Denmark, the 1st in England.

These are medium sized easy to keep plecos that are omnivores with a leaning towards animal rather then vegetable foods.

Hi,

I know I am a bit late with my answer, but at the moment (22.Dez.2003) there is only one picture showing up in the URL, and that is not L75! It is L147 in an adult version. In the new aqualog which will be available soon, will be a whole bunch of pictures of this species, from tiny to fully grown.

Erwin,

Who said anything about L75?

L147 = this fish? I agree with you I think but the photo in DATZ is very light and these photos in the link are very dark. I think we have a match?

I don't speak Norwegian, but I think that this is what the label says:

>Lurer på om det er noen som vet hvilken art dette er.
Kjøpte den for å være L75, noe jeg i ettertid tviler på at det er!

L008 has distinct spots all over, this one only has a distinctly spotted head.
