Had this guy a while and still no clue!
Had this cat for around 2 years. Sold to me as a leopard catfish but since then i've had around 10 different lfs give me varying answers!

Well its in the mochokidae family
is my best guess but I know squat about african catfish.
Someone more helpful will hopefully come along!

I can stop keeping catfish whenever I want. I just don't think I'll ever want to do that...

to clarify...there is no doubt this is a hybrid Synodontis.
Have a read here on the genus and some of its hybrids you should find your fish somewhere in here too
