In the run-up to the annual Catfish Study Group convention, one particular shop goes into overdrive!
If you live further afield, right now is one of the best times of year to make a 'pilgrimage' to Pier Aquatics at Wigan, UK.
From the recent Congo shipment I purchased a beautiful synodontis, that's possibly a new species. It's similar in profile to S Caudalis, but with a delicate spot pattern all over. I also purchased some beautiful tatias.
New fish are still arriving there from all over.
This is all my own view and not an advert. As an enthusiastic catfish keeper I'm merely letting you all know in case you have the opportunity to get there.

I was hoping to get down to Pier this week, but just too much on. I think there's even more fish arriving today!

I'll be going (again!) on Saturday, and to the convention the following weekend. I think I saw some Brachyrhamdia on the Facebook page so might have a look at them.

Slightly off-topic, I gather there are some fish sales at the convention. Is there a site where people post lists of what they're bringing, or should I prepare for a surprise?

I'm sure I've read the list on Facebook somewhere. Check the 'catfish Study Group'

I'll see what I can do Marc.

Pics seem to be easier to upload here now!
