Never mind... user error. Would delete post but that option doesn't work for me for some reason! So I guess that's the bug.

I was checking the box below the edit window that says "Do you want to delete this post" but it wasn't working. Just now I did see a X mark at the top in another post I just wrote... never noticed that before. Maybe the X disappears after a certain time? IAC I would think checking the box at the bottom should work, but maybe I had scripts partially blocked or something. Thanks for the tip, though.
