Have him about a month doing good eating nls. Was sold as an l81 but wanted to make sure.

Bigger spots makes me think L177 Iriri.
Current Breeding projects; Clown Loach, Cardinal Tetras, Royal Farlowela, Panda Gara, Panda Loach.

Thanks a couple of more pics...I was thinking l77 but the yellow bar on the fins looked small...

Seems to be an L18 nugget.

This is my very small L18 2.5" juvenile.

Thanks jimmy im confused now...i thought large spots were 177 and small medium 81 or 18

The main difference between L177 as compared to L81 and L18 is that L177 nuggets are much more darker(black) in body color with thick golden seams in the dorsal and caudal fins. L18 nuggets are more dark green in body color with thin yellow seams and medium spots. i.e L177 spots are gold and both L81 and L18 spots are yellow.
