Re: Review of saddled Peckoltia and Hemiancistrus
Thanks for sharing this, I'll try to wrap my head around it.
This might be an obvious question, but what is exactly meant by 'saddled' or 'dorsal saddles'? I could really do with a picture with an arrow pointing to it. Is it referring to the blotches of colour that span the dorsal surface of the fish?

Yes, it's the colour pattern of wide, dark bands on the body.Is it referring to the blotches of colour that span the dorsal surface of the fish?

I have now moved all the species in the paper that I think are "on Planet".
What I could do with is a latest list of all l-numbers considered in . Does anyone have that to hand? I can go to books, but they might not have everything / latest thoughts.

Morning Jools,
our list of Ancistomus doesn't entirely match with the list in the paper, but I think thats how it is actually: http://www.l-welse.com/reviewpost/showcat.php/cat/35Jools wrote:What I could do with is a latest list of all l-numbers considered in . Does anyone have that to hand?
