In 2012 I bought a group of six wild caught adults, then later added four more f1 adults that a local hobbyist was getting rid of. I ended up slowly selling off some of the extras so that I would end up with a group of three boys and three girls. From there two quickly paired off and have been spawning on and off for the past year or so. Each spawn consists of 13 to 17 eggs(best guess). I haven't been able to raise many of the fry past about a month old, I think it's due to a lack of food since I do not separate the fry to a smaller tank. I have a few that are 4 to 6 months old that may end up going with the adults.
Proven Pair: They have been spawning for the past year or so and are fed Blood Worms twice a week and their staple is NLS thera.
Pair 1: Both are about 3.25 inches and extremely healthy.
Pair 2: Male is a little smaller than 3.5" and the female is about 3.25.
