I bougth a catfish at an auction this weekend i know it is Peckoltia sp. but i cant clearly identify the exact one.

Not a Peckoltia. female

Edit- catelog lists them as Peckoltia, but I'm not so sure because of differences in the shape of the head.

Impossible only means that somebody hasn't done it correctly yet.

Could also be (Hemiancistrus/Ancistomus) L147? I would say a female too. Nice fish!

Hi,
the stripes on the body and small dots on the head actually look much more like L 205 (Peckoltia cf. brevis). L 147 and L 387 have more blotches than spots and not this kind of stripes.
