Been sold this today as a hoplo but when I've got it home I've started to doubt it. Wht do you guys think? Looks like some sort of syno to me.

Sorry but doesnt look like any hoplo catfish I have seen. But it does look like a syno so have a look in the hybred section you might find it.

Thanks it looks like the Valentine syno hybrid but it also looks very like the synodontis decorus.

If you bought that as a hoplo thats a great deal. It looks like a syno decorus to me but the spots are off a little. May just be an abnormality but once it settles down you may get a better pic.
