Hello, I was recently bought by a lovely lady for her 3.5yr old son who has multiple goldfish, and although they think I am a Pterygoplichthys Joselimaianus, they are not sure. I have taken to my new tank which is one meter long by half a meter wide and high, but Emily (major food provider) would like to know if I will need a bigger tank when I grow more. Thanks in advance for your help! Treetopper (as named by my young owner) b-)

They are correct. And you can tell Emily you definitely need a larger tank.

Thanks very much Silurus. Emily would also like to know if my skin will grow with me, or if I will shed as I grow? The piggy bank has also been put out for the bigger tank! Woo hoo. Thank you.

Not exactly sure what the last question really meant, but loricariids do not shed their skin.
