Hi! Umm... I have just made an avitar for myself on 'Paint' on my computer. Yes, it is pitiful, but I would like to know how I could get it to come up under my name. If anyone out there can help, please do.

Gaa... so forgetful.... Whoever it was that Instant Messaged me, Thank you. Just one little problem- the file is a .bmp file. It doesn't work.

Um, if you or someone else could help me, that would be great. Because, of coarse, I'm lost. *heh*

GA!!! OH,NO!!! It worked, it was ok, but it said that the picture was more than 16 kbs! Oh,man..... I thought it would work. This has NOT been my day today...

aha i see...it will only look perfect on half of the posts... slightly different shade of grey.

you can turn the background colour of the picture to invisible, how to do that probably depends on the software you use.

I'm not sure why it didn't work when I sent it back to you. I posted it and had it as my avy for a few min just to make sure it would work. I am going to make it my new avy for a few days. right click on it and choose save as. Then upload that as your avy.[/img]

My advice: use any other programme than Paint to make your avatar! Paint really sucks! .BMP files are really large; it would be much better if you saved it as a GIF or a Jpeg file.

My point excately, Elle. . DonÂ´t you have some other programme, in which you can save the file as a Gif, Jpeg or Png? (I recommend Gif-file, which is the smallest)
Or perhaps you could e-mail it to me. I would be able to save it in another file-format. Trust me; IÂ´m educating as a professional computer geek.
