So. . I´ve bought my beautiful Oscar C*****d, and he´s now living with my blue lobster, Baltazar. But there´s something missing in this aquarium. . A catfish, of course! Does anyone have any suggestions about which species would be suited for this type of aquarium? There´s no plants in the aquarium as the lobster tends to eat them all, but I often feed the lettucie. And the Oscar is very active - eating all the time, so it can´t be one there´s too shy.

And exactly seven hours have gone by since that was asked. You'll have to excuse some people for having a life.

Whoah FishKid. . relax. I still have to sleep and eat once in a while; I can´t be on the internet all the time.

My lobster-tank is 180 liter. The lobster is about 18 cm long, the Oscar´s (so far) only about 7 cm - it´s still a baby.

Maybe it´s just my poor english, but what´s a crayfish?

Remember: any suggestions are more than welcome.

Crayfish are crustaceans that are also known as crawdads, crawfish, and freshwater lobsters; they are closely related to lobsters, crabs, and shrimp.

As far as I know, there really isn't a blue lobster. Lobsters are salt water and pretty large. Crayfish are freshwater and much smaller. I am pretty sure that all blue "lobsters" are really crayfish. At least all the ones I have seen are.

but its still called a blue lobster ;) at least the local fish stores all them blue lobsters, hehe. im sure it has a scientific name but I dont feel like looking it up ;)

are there scientific familes that specify saltwater crustacean from a freshwater crustacean? anyway you look at its still a crustacean.

That´s right. . he really isn´t a lobster. But it´s called "blue lobster" in the stores.

Still, my problem isn´t whether my lobster is a lobster or not. . Any ideas about a suitable catfish for my 180 liter aquarium housing a lobster (sorry, a crayfish called Baltazar) and an Oscar called Oscar?
