Good effort breeding these. They were mentioned at the CSG Convention this weekend as a species that we need to try to maintain in the hobby, it's one of the few Xingu Hypans which is distinct from the squiggly lined ones and zebra, and is seriously threatened by the dam build. If you raise the offspring make sure they go to potential breeders who can keep them going ( rather than for people's community tanks!).

I have a group of 11 adults and always looking to add to the group. I am willing to swap adults or young with other 174 keepers. We must do as much as possible to ensure the safety of this fish and make sure we never loose this fish.
