Hi All,

Best regards,

You for sure don't want to rely on me identifying Corys..............but.......they sure look like the CW051 I have in my fish room right now. They came from Florida last week and were listed as Corydoras Bicolor.

Mine are eating well and schooling with another cory species in a 30" x 12" x 12" tank HMF filter at 78 f, eat just about anything I put in there, flake, pellets, tabimin, repashy, frozen brine. I'm treating them with Prazi Pro and did lose one right after arrival, it was very pale and listless, no outwards signs of illness, died two days after arrival with a sunken stomach.

Re: Corydoras sp. CW051?
I first had these in early 2010 and bred them i May of that year.
Below are the water parameters
pH:7.5
GH:9
KH:1.5
Conductivity:360µ/cm
Temp.25ºC (77ºF).
There is a full report in my book "Breeding Corydoradinae catfish" second edition, along with another 152 species accounts.

Re: Corydoras sp. CW051?
HI All,
it's now for about a year later and want to give an update on breeding CW051... well that did not worked out... I have had them on:
1) Rainwater: Conductivity ~50, KH0, GH 1/2, pH ~5, temperature mostly around 24-26 degrees
2) Drinking-water: Conductivity ~400, KH~7, GH ~8/10, pH 7.4, temperature mostly around 24-26 degrees
The fish are mostly feed with bloodworms.
Does anyone have new experience breeding this fish?
What about the food? How can I get the fish in optimal breeding conditions?
Do I need to raise the temperature to get them in breedingmood?
Regards,
Erik
