I have a 55 gallon tank, 36L 18W 20H. Filtration is two large sponge filters and a hagon 300 aquaclear. In it I have a pair of Bolivain rams/ an angelfish 2 cory cats and a L204- any way how to sex L204? I think I have a male as it has the longer tail fin extentions. Hes doing well eating cucumber and hiding out in his clay cave- i have wood in the tank for them to graze on. i had him for a few weeks and hes doing really good.
My LFS has L240 glaxy vampire plecos do you think getting one for my tank is okay or should i possibly try to get a female L204 for my male. or just keep what I have in the tank now.
L number stocking questions.

Depending a bit upon your husbandry habits, I think you could easily add either the L240 or another L204.
Which would you most-enjoy, observing multiple species and their unique behaviors (L204 and L240), or cultivation-of and more-indepth observation of a single species's behavior (intra-specific L204 behavior and potential spawning)?
Personally, I'd add more L204s and try to achieve spawning behavior.
