What is my ancistrus?

Ive had this fish for some time now, and im not sure if hes an L182? (I attempted to log in with my old account but lost the password so had to make a new one)

Looking at your picture could well be a L182 that his the nearest I could find in the book. Your picture is not clear. But that the closes I found hope this

Looks a lot like mine. It is probably a type of angelicus. L28 or L004/L005. I know there are a bunch of different variants to the species, depending on where they were collected from.

Hi,

no.
L 4 = L 5 = L 28 is a Hypancistrus sp.
The picture clearly shows an Ancistrus sp.

It appears to be an L107.
Nice looking fish. do you just have the one or do you have pair.

Kamas88, I see that, although they all show a striking resemblance IMO.

The spots look too small and this looks like it will be a bigger fish than to my eyes. That said, not sure what it is.

Thanks, the spots on the L107 seem to be too big for it to be my fish, which im fairly sure is a juvinile male (unless bristles are common with females in this species) I took another picture today out of the tank, I hope it helps get a more positive ID. This one came in a wild shipment, the only one of its kind I saw so I only have one.
