Re: What is my ancistrus?
Looks a lot like mine. It is probably a type of angelicus. L28 or L004/L005. I know there are a bunch of different variants to the species, depending on where they were collected from.

Re: What is my ancistrus?
Hi,
no.
L 4 = L 5 = L 28 is a Hypancistrus sp.
The picture clearly shows an Ancistrus sp.
Cheers,

Kamas88, I see that, although they all show a striking resemblance IMO.

Re: What is my ancistrus?
The spots look too small and this looks like it will be a bigger fish than to my eyes. That said, not sure what it is.

Re: What is my ancistrus?
Thanks, the spots on the L107 seem to be too big for it to be my fish, which im fairly sure is a juvinile male (unless bristles are common with females in this species) I took another picture today out of the tank, I hope it helps get a more positive ID. This one came in a wild shipment, the only one of its kind I saw so I only have one.Bushysuperred wrote:It appears to be an L107.
