Xtreme pellets

Post by rmc »

Has anyone tried feeding Xtreme PeeWee Catfish pellets or Xtreme PeeWee Community pellets to their Corys? The Xtreme website says that the PeeWee catfish pellets are good for "a variety of catfish" and the PeeWee Community pellet description specifically mentions that they are good for Corydoras.
I bought some Xtreme Catfish Scrapers a while back for my Loricariids and they love them. I have had several renowned Ancistrus and Hypancistrus breeders in the U.S. highly recommend this food for Plecos - the ingredients are supposed to be hand-selected and top notch. They Corys will pick at those wafers, but they're too big and tend to make more of a mess. So, I was looking for something smaller and less geared to vegetable proteins - which the Plecos need, but I'm thinking the Corys would be better off with animal proteins. The Xtreme PeeWee community pellets seem to fit the bill, but I'd like to hear from at least one other Cory keeper that has tried them before I buy.

I use the Xtreme Catfish PeeWee as part of a varied diet for my Cory's. The food is readily taken.
