L-128 Blue/very blue.

Post by Roland »

A few years ago i saw some VERY blue L-128. They was told to be wild.
Are there different multitude of blue, from different localities?

I have a Group of 8 large (15-18 cm TL) l128 that I hope to breed some day, and they vary i color from blueish-green to dark blue/blackish. I dont know why the colors are different, but it can be about where the fish is caught, age, mood, size, what the fish is fed etc.

It could be interesting to hear some af those who has bred the l128, if the mating specimens had same colour or if one was lighter, had more/fewer spots etc.
Best regards, Anders

I don`t think it has to do with age. As there were different sizes, but no real big.
I``d done a lot of reading about this. And one place, they rode it maybe had to do, with the food?
Anybody have an idea?
I`ve seen some of the new seasons L_128. They all are a litle more greenish, than what I remember them to be? Like bluish/greenish.
