If you are worried try testing for the following in the water.
Ammonia
Nitrite
Nitrate
Any high levels shout back as although the most likely answer will be water changes to any of the above people might be able to point you in right direction to the cause. Also if anything is out list any recent changes to the tank.

At the top of this forum is a post that asks the questions that will help us to give you accurate information. Please fill out those parameters and give us more information. I do agree that the fish looks covered in a film. Heck the fact that it's a L260 clearly out in broad daylight is a dead give away something is very wrong.

Covered in a film? What?
Is there really a film over the fish in that picture, because what i see are the shiny spikes on the scales all over the body. Most plecos have this "shine"

He does have the spikes, he also has a whitish film that's clearly visible in the second picture. L260 are not regularly out and about during daylight hours, IME.

Yeah that struck me as odd too. i never see mine in daylight either.
the second pic might be a film now that i look at it again, or it could be overexposure in the photo, since none of the other photos show the film as clearly.
I didn't know plecos even got films up until you told me
