tiger plecos?price?

Post by grandmastr »

i notice a few different looking plecos in one of the display tanks at my local lfs and on tuesdays its buy one get one free fish.

so i got a pair of i believe 3 inch tiger plecos for 2 bucks.

im not sure if they are tiger plecos but they look pratically the same but its almost colorful as some of the pics on this site, but still not 100 percent sure if they are tiger plecos

wat kind of pleco could i have?

should i try and buy the rest?

i dont think they know what they have on their hands, sellin to me as a common pleco :D

There are a few species, the 3 most likely are

L002 (I paid about $25 per fish for these)

L015 (got them by accident, about $20 each, worth much less)

L038 (got this one in a similar way that you got yours, for like $3 or $4)

as to buying more of them, if you like them and would like more go for it, but I wouldn't count on getting any great deals.
