Pics of my 2000L South American tank, loricariid and others
After re-arranging some of the wood today I thought I'd snap a few pics of the tank. Link to the specs/build is in my signature if anyone is interested.
FTS:
L190 Panaque nigrolineatus
Another L190, quite a different "look" with much finer and more regular stripes
Three of the four L190 lined up under the stump
L81 Baryancistrus Sp.
L14 Scobinancistrus aureatus, taken earlier in the day on my cellphone (the three of them are the most shy of all the plecs in the tank).
The star of the tank, Osteoglossum ferrari ~ 14-15"
Some of the six Geophagus altifrons
Enjoy.

I really love this tank! Excellent fish and the stumps look great too.
Have you considered doing something to dress up the top of the tank?

Looks great sit back and enjoy. The best part of fish keeping is its exercise with the upkeep and relaxation with the results.

Hi Andy, yes that is certainly on the cards, however my sister recently announced she will be getting married in the US next March so all unnecessary spending on the tank, including more fish, has been put on hold until after then. That is why the lights are still propped up on bits of wood and the stand not closed in.

Beautiful tank man. I read your build thread, it's a great read. Your tank makes my 350 look small . I love how you filled it with smaller fish, too.

Thanks. I'd love to fill it with even smaller fish too! Once the aro passes on I have a strange urge to turn it into a giant "community tank" with a huge school of tetras, corydoras, apistos etc etc. Maybe one day....
