suddenly dead l46 alfaman.

Post by gosephe »

After all the joy of the past two months, which I was able to get two litters is suddenly something happened with the same male L046, that dad was from these two litters, and also was the alpha-male of my group.
3 days ago I found that this man surely was quiet for what he does. (that is, so do not worry)
2 days ago I thought he surely was slightly thicker than before. (but yes that happened often with fish)
Yesterday he was slightly thicker than normal, and he was "a bit on its hind flippers.
Last night anyway put aside for the security.
This morning he was really quite bloated, but on body or belly was nothing to see outside that his stomach was tight because of the thickness.
And around 12 o'clock .... yes he lay on his back. ! : cry:
And at that moment I saw that there were two discolorations on his stomach that were not there at 7.00 am and 10.00 pm.
On the one side green and on the other hand, a little red.
Also, his body was set up by the more extreme of being formed. Deformed at
I immediately vivisection performed on him, and right from the open, there was a very strong smell from him.
There was also a significant wave of greenish pus.
My idea was, and is, as it always has been a very active fish that he has suffered a blockage and it could not be processed through his body.
But somebody else says: maby it is abdominal wall sigh.
Al my other fish looks fine !
Enjoy every day like it is your last.

Oke.
Tank 100x50x60cm
60% water 40% osmosewater.
Temp 29.
Waterchance every week arrond 50% (30-20% water-osmose)
PH between arround 6.8 (though osmose and oak extract) Standard water is overhere 8.2 ph)
us: I think it is a pmm?...the meter gives bij normale water 1000. and Il bring it to 550 with osmosewater.
Food: Viformo-tablets, little flakefood, black and red worms, mosquito larvae.
Feeding in the late evening arrond 23.00.
The other fish look verry normale and happy.
Even so saw just this morning a couple together, what never happend before, for over 1 jear.
During the time the alpha man was still alive, he made the rules, and never let a other man make a couple.
Also my 2 fry (7x1month old, 2x2 month old)are in the same tank, and look verry fine.
Enjoy every day like it is your last.
