Hello everyone
Well the new discussion..what Hypostomus is..at the beginning we thought Hypostomus roseopunctatus but thought the time looks like Hypostomus scaphyceps, here the pics:

Here is the comparison: below is H. roseopunctatus and above ..what it is?

Both were collected in Rio de la Plata Argentina.

There are a number of described species that little is known about from that region outside of the literature. Maybe someone has a better idea than tracking down all the following species without pictures:
