What to feed my Syno. Polli?
I just got in 3 of these awesome synos buy one died some point during delivery. But I was wandering what I should feed my Polli? They're about 1 3/4in - 2in. I have frozen blood worm and spirulina, is that enough? If not I can get many other frozen foods. And can they eat shrimp pellets?
Here's a couple of poor pictures of the two of them.

Mysis is also good for them and you should be able to get that at any LFS.
These fish need some cover, somewhere they can hide to feel secure. They are actually braver and stay out more with many hiding places because they know they can dart to safety fast.

If your keeping them with African Cichlids, they will thrive on whatever they are eating. All of my Syno groups are in my African tanks are are doing well with no special dietary considerations.
Also, I agree with giving them some cover so when they feel like hiding, they have the option.

They will be going in with Africans I wanted to grow them out a little bit. I was looking at these two and they seem to be male and female! So hopefully in the future.... When I get more. Has anyone been successful at breeding these? Do you treat them like petricola?
Thanks for the help guys!!
Also they have lots of cover and small crevasses to get into, and will when they're with the cichlids. They're both tucked in tight with each other right now.

I will definitely try to get you some more. I don't have a very good camera. So it's not even close to as easy as Petricola? If I were to attempt this in the future, how many do you think I'd need, and what sort of conditions do you think would be best? Substrate, tank mates, water conditions, tank size things like that. Thanks!Richard B wrote:Have you any more pics?
