L190 eating the the occasaional hikari carni pellet

Post by henward »

Hi Guys
needing feedback.

currently, my L190 is eating jbl novo pleco and hikari algae wafers and PLENTY of wood hence the saw dust that is always present in the mornings after a good feed and poo:D

anyways, today i noticed, it will skim the bottom and pick up anything food like, fragments of sinking carnivores and sometimes the odd whole pellet or 2, but very little of it, like today, it ate 2 whole carni pellets that has fully softened then onto the algae wafers.

i just wanna make sure this isnt gonna harm it, if so, then will have to revise my feeding the other cats.

I figure, in nature, they are opportunistic and will suck on anything that is food like. dead fish, crustaceans etc.

but feedback would be great!

I don't think you should worry about it, and you'll probably find the 'carnivore' pellets aren't that much different from the 'green/algae' pellets.
