Nice. They are a peculiar, large-growing, cold-water catfish that evokes my interest but I have never seen them live in person. Is this one wild-caught or farmed? Are they even farmed? What size? Looks pale... almost leucistic.

Lovely fish. Is this the pattern they sport usually??? Also, seeing that this species isn't in the CateLog, could the picture be submitted for the same?

Major: Now what's this... stone, stone, stone, (looks down at his hand) and scissors. Now. Scissors cut everything, don't they?
Sergeant: Not stone, sir.
Major: They're very good scissors!!

Farmed.About 50cm in length. It is Leiocassis longirostris var. and the wild Leiocassis longirostris are black or grey, not as pale as this one.In China, white Leiocassis longirostris is sold in markets as food fish.I want to keep a wild one but I have not seen any wild Leiocassis longirostris in the market.Viktor Jarikov wrote:Nice.
