Interests: Sim racing; cycling (ideally not into the back of stationary dustbin lorries located on blind sweeping bends in wet weather, with rim brakes like chocolate teapots)
My ex-youngster group (RIP) started to grow their dorsal fin extension when they were ~7cm SL.
Mine were very reclusive also, as a consequence I did not see them covered head to toe in white spots (presumed Ich) until they were really ill and were surfing in the current in desperation to try and breathe, lost the whole group over the space of a week (along with one Synodontis nigriventris and a Steatocranus casuarius).
Lovely catfish, my singleton adult (bought as last of the shop tank before the youngsters) went to live with Mats late summer last year.
