I build custom pleco breeding caves. The photos I have attached is an example of one of my custom builds for a client. I construct them from granite and build to clients specs and color preference. The specs of this build are as follows. Bottom floor has three 7" x 1 1/4 caves. Second floor has three 5" x 1 1/4 caves. The top floor has five 3"x1" caves for fry to hide in after hatching. The example I posted weighs 8 pounds. I am shipping one out tmr that is the same size. I can give you a price on shipping than. As for price of the actual piece plus labor, it really depends on size, number of caves and material. The example I posted was built using 3 granite tiles of a cost of $13.50 per tile. That tile was expensive but I can use cheaper granite if aesthetics is not the focus.

they look nice but i dont care what they look like it would be more functional for me than for looks..

so you charged the person $40.50? thats way too rich for my blood... can you get a price on something cheaper and let me know how much shipping was..

I can build these for half the price than the one I posted. You have to consider this client wanted this certain tile that was not cheap. Its hard to see but in person that tile looks amazing and even better under water. If anyone is interested I plan on producing a cheaper line. I just wanted to show everyone the concept and style. They work great and take up little room but offer a lot of caves.

I received my Pleco Palace (as I call it) from Xtremecichlids. The packing job done on it was done very well. I wish everything I received mail order was packed as well as it was.
I got the specialized granite tile and boy, does it pop once it's underwater! You won't be sorry with it. It is awesome looking and very professionally constructed. Here is a picture of mine right after I placed it in my tank.

I love my "palace". My l200's moved in within about 20 mins of being in the tank. Ill get pics of it in the tank tomorrow but here it is when it was built. Both the roof and middle section can be removed easily.

What kind of dimensions is the L 200 set up and how much did it run price wise?

John, Im glad to hear they love the cave system! Are they using both the bottom and top caves? I cant wait to see pictures of the tank.
