id help on corys

id help on corys

any know the id of the big cory seen them in a shop with no id on them as the guy is unsure as them came in a box as mixed corys.

I was going to say but the markings aren't distinct enough. Will leave it for the experts!

the two in the front are septentrionalis and the ones in the back .. maybe undulatus?

The smaller ones (i.e. middle and back) are Corydoras bilineatus. I have 5 of them and really enjoy them. They are more like the elegans cory and they swim mid-water more than my other cories.

Hi,

C. septentrionalis is a good call. If you have a good picture of the barbels you can confirm this.
It is one of very few species having a third rictal barbel.

For the other I agree that they seem to be C. bilineatus.

The two long snouted species are at this moment in time unknown, Going by the head and snout shape, I do not believe they are C. septentrionalisit, There is a possiblility they are C. cortesi. The fish at the back look like C. napoensis.
