I have a genuine proven breeding pair of Albino Ancistrus (Bristlenose) for sale (true, pink eyes, not L144). These are not a randomly selected semi adult pair from a mixed tank. These are a proven breeding pair, kept in their own tank. I am only selling as I don't have the tank space for all the young they produce, and am moving over to breeding L201 and L183.
You can see fry from the last two batches in the tank with them.
They are approx 1.5 years old, so have many more breeding years in them. Both are in fin perfect condition. The male is 3.5" long, the female is 3" long. The female is rounding up nicely for her next batch of eggs. They breed approx. every 4-5 weeks, with the last two spawns on the 10th March 2013 and 6th Feb 2013. Average batch size is 40 eggs, and they will spawn any day now. A tank change will probably be enough to trigger it!
Price: £25 the pair (I'll include some Cherry Shrimp, OVNO without), or I will swap for a large colony of dwarf cories (pygmaeus or hastatus).
Tank is at 26 degrees, NO3 nil, NO2 nil, GH 16d, KH 15d, pH 7.2 (Cambridge water is hard, I don't use RO for these).
Collection only from Cambridge (10 mins off J11 M11, 5 mins from Cambridge Station)
