Will my Q.Arabesque & K.Tiger juvies be okay??

Post by Newguy5 »

I just got these 2 yesterday and they are only around 1.5". I put them both on my 65g peaceful CA/SA Cichlid tank with my other 2 plecos. One is a 4" dull eye royal and the other is a 3" blue phantom. Will the co-habitate well?? Please help!

What other fish? What parameters? Filtration? Decoration? You're asking for a pretty broad swipe of approval without nearly enough facts to form an opinion, IMO?

From my own personal experience, I do not like to mix plecs with Cichlids. Many do keep them together successfully, but the aggression of cichlids always makes me nervous. You probably spent a good amount on those awesome fish, I would put them in a separate grow out tank. Just my opinion.

Also, L260 are very shy by nature, more so than most hypans. I'd think they would hide from the cichlids even more.
