Hemiodontichthys acipenserinus, need advice for breeding
Eight days ago my Hemiodontichthys acipenserinus was spawning, the male had the eggs in his mouth (he lost a few the first day, I have kept them in a breedingbox) until day 7 when I took them and put them in the BB. The box is inside the parents tank, stable temperature and good flow of water. I've read it can be difficult to feed the fry, what do you think about a startdiet of microorm, newly hatched brineschrimps, crushed Tabimin?
Spawning parameters 12/3: Temp 27 celsius, pH 6,5, Gh/Kh 0, last water change 7/3.
Male with eggs, day 1
Day 5
Day 6

Day 7, eggs taken from the male

Great pics! I think the diet is good but little and often.

The eggs began to hatch yesterday but it does'nt look very promising, two snails appeared in the BB and they seem to have eaten hole in the eggs.
Good news is that the male has new eggs today, I will let him have the eggs/fryes until the yolk sac is gone.
