Also want to show one of my other tanks here. I use this tank to have an effort to keep en breed Copella arnoldi. This means that the tank is half filled with water. Above water I keep Philodendron spp. and Hydrocotyle leucephala. These plants have to grow a little bit more and the Philodendron spp. needs to go growing around the lianas.

Fish in this tank are:
11 Corydoras punctatus
4 Copella arnoldi (2m 2f)
2 L010a Rineloricaria sp.
2 unidentified Loricaria sp.

next week I'm going to add 2 Achirus achirus and 4 Awaous flavus to this tank.

This tank has changed a little bit. In this tank I keep at the moment:

6 Corydoras aeneus
2 Otocinclus vittatus couple
1 Otocinclus vittatus juvenile of the couple.
6 Sturisoma aereum juveniles

may I ask what happened to the arnoldi's and did you manage to successfully breed them?

The Copella arnoldi are now swimming in my 1.60m tank. They are regularly laying eggs, but haven't got young fry yet. This is more because of the Collembola (Springtails) that are eating from the eggs. So I have to find a way to protect the eggs from eaten.

The easy way to protect Copella arnoldi eggs is to scrape them off the glass or tank lid, or wherever they are, and move them to a small container of tank water until they hatch. They don't need to be out of the water. I love this species and I intend to keep raising the occasional brood just to make sure I always have a large shoal swimming around.
