I'm new to the world of plecos, and purchased a 3" gibbiceps a few days ago. Now I've read that plecs poop alot, but poop that's 5-6'' long without a break in it!!!?? I know it might seem like a silly question, but is this common?

Gibbiceps plecos have tons of personality. My mother's would actually swim up to the top and float around slurping up flakes, so we started giving him an algae wafer when he'd do it. Now he goes to the top like that any time you open the lid, hehe
Yeah, it is totally normal. At least with one of my plecoes. First thing I ever noticed when I got him was how long his feces would be! His are frequently more than 4 inches long! So that's why I named him 'Mr. Poo Poo'
oh wierd. thats nice ahehe. Huge turds comin' right up!
I've tried to kill the pain, but only brought more(so much more) I lay dying, and I'm pouring crimson regret and betrayal I'm dying, praying, bleeding, and screaming...Am I too lost to be saved? Am I too lost? My God my Tourniquet return to Salvation, My God my Tourniquet return to me Salvation.
ive got a common pleco in my tank now, he tends to poop alot and for long strings my poor little internal filter doesnt like it much, I have to clean it quite frequently. I need to switch to a different filter...
