Tips on catching corydoras pygmaeus

Post by wijnands »

My daughter has finally decided she's not too fond of her pygmy cories anymore. So, I've decided to adopt them and give them some company as well.

Problem is, it's a small tank with the back half quite well planted and a load of cherry shrimp. I've caught three of them but the other two are quite elusive and refushed to be flushed out by me gently poking into the plants.

Anyone any good tips for this? Would trapping with a bottle trap work?

Eventually my daughter managed to catch the last two without doing too much damage. I do have a few questions about behaviour though but that's for another thread I think. Thanks anyway
