Hello Ladies and Gentleman, name is Alex. :-BD \M/ :-C :YMAPPLAUSE: :d
I'm 19 years old and I have been keeping fish since I was 10. I just started getting interested into catfish, although I've had rtcs, tsn, and pictus before.
I am a future chef/baker/caterer.
And yes, you can tell by my Username my favorite catfish are Megladoras Irwini!!! I love the zebra ripsaws or irwini. I have 2 of them currently.
I am a huge fan of the Doridade family. I am converting my tank into a armored catfish tank and am going to get some brochis hognosed cats, a niger catfish, and some hassar cats. It's nice to join a catfish forum... hope to see other armored catfish fans here.
I'll leave you with a pic of my 2 irwinis. I will be posting some threads for advice and more pics of my iriwni later...

Your irwini are actually Megalodoras uranoscopus, (irwini is an older name that has been revised)

Also thanks for the scientific name upgrade, irwini sounded easier for me to spell. I knew it was an U word.

No, I made a mistake. I was trying to add a picture of my cats.
Also I am having a hard time getting my profile to read My Cats under where I post how do I do that? What I mean is like other members have, under their username it says my cats.

I've removed the erroneous blog entry. If you want to add 'my cats' then go to the species page and find the add species to my cats link/button.
