What are my whiptails?

Post by n00dl3 »

These were given to me as red whiptail after looking it over. It doesn't seem like it. Also, I think it is trio of one male and two females. What ya'all think?

They are the same fish commercially sold as red whiptail. I won't get into splitting hairs here. As to sex, it's two males and one female. One of the males has a malformed head. This is also rather common in US lines due to excessive line breeding and rarely outcrossing.
