From that angle, the first photo does resemble an Ancistrus Ranunculus. But the next two shots show otherwise. I may have seen a similar Ancistrus from Tapajos but I can't recall which website I saw it. Let's see what the experts have to say.

Hi,
I have looked at my L034 and my males all have much thicker bristles, and more than one row of bristles, hence my female comment.

However none of them have the bristles down the centre of the snout.

Therefore I don't think this is an L034 either.

I'm not sure what it is though, as all the pictures that I have that are similar, the fish all have fine white spots on them.

Ancistrus macrophtalmus could be indeed a good ID, but not totally satisfied with it
