Need some advice please. This is my first spawn of these beautiful catfish.
I have a small group of Multi Syno fry. They are about 10 days old now.
I had been feeding them on the host eggs and then added some other cichlid eggs to give them a good start.
Well now I have a problem. I am out of eggs to feed them. Lastnight before I went to bed I made sure they was well fed and nice fat bellies.
I gave them some crushed flake food and some super soft krill pellet food. Is the krill ok for them?
When I got up today I checked on them and during the night they had killed and ate one of the siblings.
How do I prevent this from happening at night when I am asleep?
Thanks so very much in advance

Re: Feeding Syno Multi fry
Looks like this post might have gotten lost in the shuffle. I'm sure there are many users on this forum who have raised multipunctata or grandiops. I always fed mine pulverized carnivore pellets made by Hikari. They seemed to stay full just eating about half a pellet a day between the 5-7 i raised at a time for the 1st month. Yours are a month older now. How are they coming along?

Thank you for the response. They are doing great and about 2 inches now and in one of my larger tanks. I separated them into two different breeder nets and did not have anymore issues with them turning on each other. I fed them on super soft krill pellets and some NSL pellets crushed to start out with, they grew quickly on them. Now they eat just about anything
Getting over the hump of getting them on regular food was the hardest part, but now I know how to deal with that part. Its been a joy to be able to raise them
