Bunocephalus colombianus?
Hey Catologists,
i need some help identifying my Banjo. (The picture is "shopped" to get more details of this beautiful fish!) I wish i could provide more pictures from different angles but i am afraid that this is the only good one i have. From a first comparison i'd say it's a Bunocephalus colombianus. What are your thoughts?
Greetz,
Philip

Hi Philip
What makes you think it's ? Is there any way you can get a picture from above?
Thanks
Martin

Looking at the general shape I would agree but impossible to say 100% based on this image.

Re: Bunocephalus colombianus?
Thanks for the replies! That picture convinced me. The pectoral fins are not spikey like i saw at other banjos and colours look similiar. But this is really no good id indications. I thought maybe some ppl here could work their magic.

It looks like the most commonly imported Banjo Cat species whatever that may currently be.
