Looking for Synodontis Granulosa

Post by theviper06 »

Hello everyone out there lol

I have saw a few people on here lately talking about their granulosa and I'm wondering if anyone out there have any breeding pairs? Would love to get ahold of one someday and looking to get some information?

Please PM me if anyone has first hand knowledge

The only worldwide successful spawning (& raising) AFAIK is by Neil Hardy Aquatica in the UK (an importer/wholesaler).

I've been and seen their stock and breeding set-up so know this is genuine. The problem with breeding these is that they can be territorial to each other bordering on viciousness, so the breeding is done in a specific way (individuals are kept & conditioned separately before being brought together for the spawning attempt.

Be aware that there are some very convincing hybrids out there so buy carefully. Best of luck if you pursue keeping this species in the future & feel free to post with specific questions
Lou: Every young man's fantasy is to have a three-way.
Jacob: Yeah not with another fu**!ng guy!
Lou: It's still a three-way!
