Hello From North Carolina, USA!
Hello! Name's Adam, I'm from Greensboro, NC. I joined up because I have a Starlight Bristlenose Pleco, L183, from a member here. I originally had two, but I lost one when I had temporary trouble with my water. My pleco is very shy, refusing to come out unless it's night. I was wondering if having more L183s would help encourage him to come out more. After all, I got him because he's gorgeous.
I'd also love to start a breeding project with these little guys, but I'm not sure where or how to start, yet another reason why I joined up here. I look forward to Planet Catfish!

Greetings! And welcome to planet catfish! Beautiful animals ! I can't help you with the ancistrus I have no experience with any ancistrus species although I do want to change that! If I may ask who did you accuire the pleco from?
"Fishing provides that connection with the whole living world. It gives you the opportunity of being totally immersed, turning back into yourself in a good way. A form of meditation, some form of communion with levels of yourself that are deeper than the ordinary self."

Re: Hello From North Carolina, USA!
Thank you! I got the pleco at just the exact right time since I had just set up the 40 gallon and the breeder was selling them and they were going VERY fast. It was just a stroke of luck since I wasn't a member of either forum that he's on.
I had to look the thread up, but the member I got the Starlight from is bsmith. Here's the thread - http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/view ... 24&t=32852

Thanks, guys! I've been trying without success to add aquaria to my profile. How do I do this? It seems so complicated...

Re: Hello From North Carolina, USA!
Go to "My Aquaria" and use the "Add New Aquarium" link near the bottom of the "main section". But it looks like you've already figured that out...ZeeZ wrote:Thanks, guys! I've been trying without success to add aquaria to my profile. How do I do this? It seems so complicated...
You can also go to a species page in the Cat-eLog (use the "Quick find" at the top right of the page to quickly navigate to the species you want) and add that species to your "My Cats".

I've never seen anyone introduce themselves better than you did, ZeeZ. Welcome! Beautiful tanks. I love how the gecko and the dog are checking each other out Nice shot.
