Sexing L114 or is it?

Post by Vorup »

I have this group of 5 L114 in different sizes.
Please help me with sexing them and to decide whether all of them are L114 or some of them could be L600.
Thanks a lot in advance.

By the way, they live in a 960 liters tank together with 6 L240.

fish nr. 1 female, rest males. 3 and 4 is a bit unsure. Can be skinny females. Try to fatten them up more and post some photos after a couple of months with power feeding

It is difficult to tell until they get over 20 cm. Then the females start to stand out. I agree that more food and a few months will make it easier to tell for the larger ones.
Nice group!
