King tiger pleco question.
King tiger pleco question.
Hi,
I'm really curious about the coloration of king tiger plecos.
The question seems a bit silly when I ask it, but it's actually a little confusing to me.
I'll start witht he question then I'll dive deeper into what I'm really curious about.
Whats the difference between White king tigers and Yello King tigers?
Sounds stupid I know. They are different colors one would say.
When I first got mine which where called Yellow king tigers they definetely looked yellow.
Once I got them under a bright light in my tank they became crazy white.
So what I'm curious about is, are these 2 one in the same?
Is there actually a pure white variety and a seperate yellow variety?
Is L-333 considered yellow and people saying they have a white variety really have L-066?
I hope someone out there can help me understand the difference, if there is one.
If I'm just being stupid lemme know heheheh.

Re: King tiger pleco question.
hey nice thread
I have a group of 8 pieces l-66
and they are not exactly the same colors
but do you have an opportunity to take a picture of them like from the side so you can see the pattern and see the tail
You can see the difference between l-66 and L-333 on the tail
but criminals throw pictures up so we look at it

Re: King tiger pleco question.
I believe these to be L-333 and am extrememly happy with the fish but the question stems from another person want to sell me some they are calling white variety.
I don't wanna spend extra money buying a white variety if they are the same fish.
If they have L-066 I would buy them though.

Re: King tiger pleco question.
I also think that it is l-333
and there is much talk about their colors
they look like one when they are small and quite another when they grow up
so it is by looking at them
but it is a l-333 you've got yourself there you can see the tail is straight and is a l-66 has a notch in the tail
hope you can use the answer otherwise you have to write again
