Unusual Coloured Starlights (L183)
A few years ago I bought a batch of L183 from another aquarist who'd bred them and shared them with a friend. Mine were moved on at a later date, but my friend kept his.
He's currently breaking his tank down and when I saw them I was amazed at how 'odd' they both looked. The pictures are of one of the two fish and I just wondered if anyone knew why they are both so unusual looking.
Thanks
Martin

Looks to me that they are just frightened and washed out.
Are they like this all the time?

I have a wild 183 and he is not as washed out as this one but nearly.
He seems healthy otherwise.

They are both like that all the time, and have been for a long time. At least it seems it's nothing to worry about, though a shame as the juvenile colours are much more attractive.
Thanks

I wonder if this fish has the same condition as the L7 mentioned in this post:
