Congratulations Jac!
Well, that depends on your keeping.
The colder the water for instance, the longer it takes for the eggs to mature for hatching. If your water would be around 28-29 degrees, that could mean that your incubation time is longer by one or 2 days.

The temperature here is a constant 30 degrees. All of my other fish (Hypancistrus and Sturisoma) have an incubation time of max 4 days. It has been so for 4-5 years without any change.
I know that it depends on the water temperature. But I also keep my Hypancistrus in 30 C.

Hi Yann,

Yes, I also quite like the elegance of L70. Just something different b-)
The fry are doing great. Have dissolved the yolk sack and are starting to roam around the tank. There are quite a lot of them, for a first spawn :d

The L102 are doing fine. They still haven't grown very much but have a nice round belly and fat tail, so eating well. I did however loose one in December.... :((
But still have 8 healthy and strong ones left!! Hoping to see them grow in the near future!!

Good luck with your L70 and L102, get them spawning :d

Thanks for asking!
Cheers Jacqueline

Update on the fry.

Zombie fry, now 2 weeks old and doing great :)
I took the shot just before I did maintenance on the tank. I saw the fry in the cave and caught them on film first. So don't worry about the pooh please...
