Hypancistrus contradens

but I'm not sure about my smallest male (in the upper left of the picture). Is him a real contradens?

I would say yes on H.Contradens.

I say yes also on the H. Contradens.

Great specimens my friend! Based on Aqualog, each H. Contradens can have its own unique pattern. Oftentimes, their spots can be irregular in sizes and shape. Just like a human fingerprint, no two sets are alike. Based on this reference and on my experience keeping a couple of these Hypans, I would say that they are indeed H. Contradens.
