LG6 = Hemiloriciaria parva
"Relative to congeners, this species has proportionately larger fins. In particular it has a very large dorsal pectoral fin. Similarly the species has a larger eye diameter combined with a wide interorbital gap - characteristic for this species."
Suggest replacing all images in the species with LG6 and keepers & common names best combined?
Cheers,
Jools

Go for it. But you'll need to find a new species to rename LG6! Maybe it is time to add a family to that function so you can reuse them as non catfishes?

Re: LG6 = Hemiloriciaria parva
Yeah, I thought about that too.
Or add the "archive species" function.
We also need a new notificaction: "Notify me when a 'my cats' species is changed".

Hi Mats,
Yes, I see my suggestion as a quick and simple fix to get started with.
I agree with archiving but as discussed elsewhere, only when a function to check there a no dependant / related records for that species present is in place.
Once I scale the email mountain I am currently climbing, I will get more notifictions working. The test running present is working well, in fact, the photo contributors is working 100%.
Cheers,
Jools

Re: LG6 = Hemiloriciaria parva
Ok, all that remains now is to add a new species over the former LG6 entry.
I've started on the changes to "move family".

Code in R669 for "move species between families".

Re: LG6 = Hemiloriciaria parva
Since we are missing over half of the described Chaetostoma, I'll overwrite this one with one of the missing ones too.
Edit: It is now Chaetostoma alternifasciatum.

Ok, I'm off out (hoping that the Guildford MA branch is open). When I get back, I'll have a look at moving these pictures and replacing the fish with another Chaetostoma...

Pictures from H. sp Pantanal now moved to H. parva, along with C. Forssander's keepers record.
H. sp Pantanal is now .
