Hi all, need your expertise and experience on below:
One of my corys is rolling over and over at the bottom of the tank, he can't swim straight.
However he has not lost his coloration and is still very well-conditioned, no signs of starving.
I have just done a 50 percent water change and fished him out into a fry trap, with about 2" of water so that he can stop rolling around and injuring himself. No other visible signs of injury.
Have been feeding tubifex heavily along with some pellets for the past 5 days to get this group into some action as it has been raining everyday here. Could this be the reason?

Basically I think too much tubifex, if given too much at a time the fish can and will gorge themselves and the effect can be fatal. What happens is the tubifex "Balls up" much like it does after it is rinsed in a dish. This balling up can cause a gut blockage and then all sorts of infections can occur. I would stop feeding for at least four or five days and give the fishes digestive system a chance to recover. It may not recover, it will depend on what damage has been done internally.
